Here it is! The famous UREI 1176 compressor, that is much loved by audio engineers for its character and color, is now available for our modular 4-channel system!
The module is very compact and fits in just a tiny 1/4 space of a 1U rack enclosure. Despite its size it's packed with features: it has got everything that its "big 2U brother" has, and even more. We've added a "2:1" setting for the Ratio switch and a famous "All butons" mode for those who like to squish the hell out of everything.
We've included two LED meters: one for output level, another for gain reduction. The module also has an active link circuit that allows correct stereo operation of two units.
And yes, the "heart" of this compressor is true to the original vintage UREI 1176 rev. D.
